10/18/99 by Judge Bonnie Wheaton: "IT IS
THEREFORE ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. Defendants SAINT PROCOPIUS ABBEY and MEIJER, INC., are enjoined
from taking any action on the subject property pursuant to
government approvals issued or enacted on or after February 15,
1999, by Defendant VILLAGE OF LISLE, until further order of Court
or until a proper public hearing is held pursuant to the statutes
of the State of Illinois and its own ordinances.
2. Plaintiffs / Relators are required to continue in full force
and effect the bond in the amount of $5,000.00 as security for the
Defendants."
The above is the order, as issued by Judge Wheaton, verbatim.
Excluded is the preceding eleven pages of explanation (see link in
next paragraph for complete document). Perhaps the most
interesting part is: "Plaintiffs / Relators KLAEREN and
WUNDERLICH have established a substantial likelihood of success on
the merits of their underlying claims;"Click here to open/download judge's order in
a Word document...please note, this was scanned-in and the
formatting is not perfect (we'll work on that later). If you'd

MEIJER
COMMENTS: WE WON'T STEP AWAY FROM THIS.Meijer's Comments to
Judge Wheaton's ruling: In a continuing effort to defy their
opponents, on 10/19/99 an
article in The Grand Rapids Press reports that Meijer spokesman
said "This doesn't end anything here and we are confident the
approval process we went through will stand. We won't step away
from this." Meijer is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Remember when Meijer spokesperson said early in the process that
they would not build where they are not wanted???
We need money for the legal fund to continue this David/Goliath

final and the effort is not over. Please mail a generous check today
